BAFA funding for inVENTer ventilation systems

Anforderungen an energieeffiziente Gebäude

BAFA funding for inVENTer ventilation systems: In order to advance environmentally friendly technologies, state support is required. One focus of the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, or BAFA for short, is to support new, particularly energy-efficient technologies and measures that help save energy and to build them up with funding.
So far, the replacement of the heating system as well as various measures for heating optimization have been eligible for funding. The use of renewable energies through to energy advice for residential buildings was also supported by the division of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy with subsidies.
Since January 2020, BAFA has also been subsidizing the combination of a ventilation system with heat recovery with an eligible heat pump of up to 45%.

Ventilation in hotels & micro-apartments

In apartment houses with micro-apartments, such as hotels and dormitories, ventilation systems have become an inevitable and rather complex topic. There are numerous guidelines and specifications that must be observed in this context for safety reasons. Whirring and annoying noises from the ventilation in an apartment or a residential complex and complicated fire protection measures are a thing of the past with the inVENTer PAX sound-absorbing fan. With the powerful ventilation system inVENTer PAX, inVENTer offers a solution for e.g. hotel rooms, micro-apartments, student residences, nursing homes and senior citizens’ residences.

Prevent contamination via aerosols through ventilation systems

Ventilation planning in corona times

Ventilation planning is more demanding today than ever: With the corona pandemic, the demands on hygienic indoor air, which should keep the risk of infection as low as possible, are increasing. Due to the contact restrictions, the training opportunities for specialist planners and energy consultants have also changed. And last but not least, the new Building Energy Act (GEG) will come into force in November 2020, which will replace the three energy saving regulations EnEV, EnEG and EEWärmeG. Energy consultant and training expert Joachim Schrader from BAUEN + ENERGIE comments on these current challenges in ventilation planning.

Radon protection thanks to ventilation – “RadonVent” research project: Decentralized ventilation reduces the concentration of radon activity indoors

Radonschutz dank Lüftung

According to the Radiation Protection Act, regulations on protection against radon in buildings with common rooms such as apartments, daycare centers and schools as well as at workplaces will apply in radon prevention areas for the first time from 2020. The radioactive noble gas radon-222 cannot be perceived by humans and can cause lung cancer in the long term. Researchers at inVENTer GmbH, in cooperation with the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (UFZ), among others, are investigating the effectiveness of decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery in reducing the radon activity concentration in the room air. Against this background, the “RadonVent” research project is conducting field tests in an area with increased radon occurrence. In the first preliminary tests using inVENTer ventilation devices, measurement results were obtained that demonstrate a significant reduction in radon-222 in the interior.
